Looking for a tasty pie, filling pasty or delicious sausage roll to brighten your day? We’ve got just the thing. With more than 400 awards across our ranges, including Britain’s Best Cornish Pasty (twice!) and numerous Great Taste Awards, our food is close to becoming legendary.
Our range includes awesome meat pies and pasties, flavour-packed veggie and vegan bakes, remarkable gluten free pies and pasties, and fabulous cakes. Everything is handmade in Devon by our expert chefs, pie-filling hunks and pasty crimpers. We use high welfare meat, fresh veg and top-quality ingredients, with none of those nasty additives. Then we post our pies, pasties, cakes and sausage rolls far and wide, delivered by courier anywhere in the UK.
Celebrating 20 Years of Chunk of Devon 🥳
From humble beginnings in the back of a butchers shop in Devon in 2006, Simon, Suzi and the team have made Chunk what it is today: the most accoladed savoury bakery in the country. Our pasty has won Britain’s Best Cornish Pasty not once but twice, much to the delight of our Cornish competitors, we’re sure!
Award-Winning Gluten Free Pies & Pasties from Our Dedicated Bakery
Simon and Suzi never fancied gluten free food that was just “good for gluten free”. They wanted it to be as good if not better than 'gluten full'. So in 2022 they bought Baked to Taste, an established, dedicated gluten free bakery just down the road in Honiton, and brought it into the Chunk family. In 2026 it became Chunk Gluten Free. It’s a SALSA-accredited, gluten and wheat free bakery with its own building, team and equipment, so it’s a safe choice for coeliacs. It’s also now backed by 20 years of Chunk baking know-how.
And the judges have noticed. At the Free From Food Awards 2026, the UK’s only industry awards dedicated to free from food, our [product name] took [award/medal]. We were up against the big supermarket multiples, with their huge development teams and even bigger budgets. Not bad for a small Devon bakery! Add two 2026 Great Taste Awards for our gluten free Steak & Haggis and Steak & Ale pies, and it’s clear that gluten free doesn’t have to mean flavour free.

Chunk Original is baked in Ottery St Mary, and Chunk Gluten Free is baked seven miles away in Honiton. Both are packed full of talented and dedicated ‘hunks’ making mouth-watering pies and pasties. You can order from either range, or mix and match, in one place. Every gluten free product is individually wrapped and packed separately so you can have the confidence that you can order gluten free and gluten full in one parcel. Something for all the family!
