A Classic Steak and Kidney Pie.

A true classic. No nonsense. All pleasure. Loaded with locally sourced chunky steak and diced kidney, bathed in a rich homemade gravy with a delicious buttery short-crust pastry. This traditional pie is best served straight from the oven with oodles of mash for the ultimate comforting pieday night dinner. 

Did you know… historically, oysters were used rather than kidney! However, as they got a little pricey, kidney became the obvious replacement. If you believe in culinary cycles, then we will be using oysters again sometime soon! Watch this space.

Cooking & Storage

Cooking

Remove packaging, keep the pie in its foil, and place on a lined baking tray into a preheated oven at 190°C/Gas Mark 5 for 40 - 45 minutes or an Air Fryer at 170°C for 35 minutes, until piping hot. Leave it to rest for 5 minutes - then enjoy! (ovens do vary - so this is a guide)

Storage

KEEP FROZEN: Cook from frozen. Once cooked you can keep it refrigerated for up to 2 days.

  • BANK HOLIDAYS... our courier does not collect or deliver, so parcels will take a little longer to arrive if you place an order around Bank Holidays.
  • P&P is £5.95 for orders under £45.00.
  • Orders of £45.00 and over are FREE of charge.

  • When your order arrives place it in the freezer as soon as possible
  • All are sent with a Next Day delivery service.

We can deliver to most of mainland England, and Wales but NOT Northern Ireland, the Highlands and Islands of Scotland, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight and Channel Islands. [Sorry 😞 - something we're looking into!]
