Homity Pie
Above and beyond delicious! This pie is a staple for the freezer and ideal for a last-minute lunch.
By all accounts, the Homity Pie is an Irish delicacy – but it is just as popular in the UK. An open-topped pie made with spud, mature cheddar cheese, onion and a little garlic and a few herbs. Topped with mature West Country cheddar cheese, it's delicious and one of our biggest selling pies.
Our incredibly popular Homity Pie has won several accolades in its time. According to the judges at the 2022 Great Taste Awards it is 'above & beyond delicious!' and it was awarded a sought-after 2 Star Gold.
The judges comments included, "A Rustic no nonsense pie - just like your Grandma would make", and "We all loved the richness of the cheese & satisfying nature of the pie".

Potato [SULPHITES] (38%), onions (19%), cheddar cheese [MILK] (15%), Wheat flour ([WHEAT] flour, calcium carbonate, iron, niacin, folic acid, thiamin), vegetable shortening (RSPO palm, rapeseed oil), wholemeal wheat flour [WHEAT], Red Leicester cheese [MILK (3%), glaze (water, rapeseed oil, sugar, cornflour, pea protein, starch), potato starch, salt, garlic powder, vegetable bouillon, black pepper.

Cooking & Storage
Cooking
Remove packaging, keep the pie in its foil, and place on a lined baking tray into a preheated oven at 190°C/Gas Mark 5 for 40 - 45 minutes or an Air Fryer at 170°C for 35 minutes, until piping hot. Leave it to rest for 5 minutes - then enjoy! (ovens do vary - so this is a guide)
Storage
KEEP FROZEN: Cook from frozen. Once cooked you can keep it refrigerated for up to 2 days.

- We deliver Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
- BANK HOLIDAYS... our courier does not collect or deliver, so parcels will take a little longer to arrive if you place an order around Bank Holidays.
- P&P is £5.95 for orders under £45.00.
- Orders of £45.00 and over are FREE of charge.

- When your order arrives place it in the freezer as soon as possible
- All are sent with a Next Day delivery service.
We can deliver to most of mainland England, and Wales but NOT Northern Ireland, the Highlands and Islands of Scotland, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight and Channel Islands. [Sorry 😞 - something we're looking into!]
