A true classic. No nonsense. All pleasure.

Loaded with locally sourced chunky steak and diced kidney, bathed in a rich homemade gravy with a delicious buttery short-crust pastry. This traditional pie is best served straight from the oven with oodles of mash for the ultimate comforting pieday night dinner. 

Did you know… historically, oysters were used rather than kidney! However, as they got a little pricey, kidney became the obvious replacement. If you believe in culinary cycles, then we will be using oysters again sometime soon! Watch this space...

Wheat Flour ([WHEAT] Flour, Calcium Carbonate, Iron, Niacin, Folic Acid, Thiamin), Beef (22%), Onions, Ox Kidney (14%), Water, Vegetable Shortening (RSPO Palm, Rapeseed Oil), Butter [MILK], Modified Starch, Beef Bouillon, Glaze (Water, Rapeseed Oil, Sugar, Cornflour, Pea Protein, Starch), Salt, Vegetable Bouillon, Rapeseed Oil, Black Pepper, Mixed Herbs.

Heating & Storage

From Frozen: -

Oven: Place pie in its foil on a lined baking tray into a preheated oven at 190°C / Gas Mark 5 for approx. 40-45 mins. Air Fryer: Set air fryer to 170°C and heat in its foil for approx. 35 mins. Ensure your pies are piping hot throughout before removing from oven or air fryer.

From Chilled:-

  • Oven: Place pie in its foil on a lined baking tray into a preheated oven at 190°C / Gas Mark 5 for approx. 25 mins. Air Fryer: Set air fryer to 170°C and heat in its foil for approx. 20 mins. Ensure your pies are piping hot throughout before removing from oven or air fryer. Top Tips: Wait for 5 minutes to let it rest. Then enjoy! Best not to microwave as this will make our awesome pastry go soggy. (Ovens and air fryers do vary - so the above is a guide.)

Storage:-

KEEP FROZEN: Cook from frozen. Once cooked you can keep it refrigerated for up to 2 days.

Delivery

Next-day delivery: We send orders on a next-day service for the delivery date you have chosen. Please don't ask DPD to change your delivery date. We can't replace parcels that fail to arrive following a requested date change.

  • We deliver Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
  • DO NOT use an App to reschedule your delivery. If you need to do this - Please contact us by phone or email.
  • BANK HOLIDAYS... Sorry but our courier does not collect or deliver.
  • P&P is £5.95 for orders under £45.00.
  • Orders of £45.00 and over are FREE of charge.
  • When your order arrives place it in the freezer as soon as possible.

We can deliver to most of mainland UK, but NOT Northern Ireland, the Highlands and Islands of Scotland, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight and Channel Islands. [Sorry 😞 - something we're looking into!]
