Hundreds of blokes trekked around the city in aid of raising money for local families. Finishing with a pint from
Exeter Brewery, and enjoying one of our handmade pasties.
Men also took part walking their own 8 mile (or more!) route from home and were sent their goodies to relish afterwards, watching the rugby from the sofa.
A team from Hospice Care joined us at Chunk HQ before the event to pack boxes being sent to fundraiser’s homes. They threw on their PPE and got stuck in in the warehouse, with a couple of ‘hunks’ helping putting pasties into boxes.
The weather was less than ideal on the big day but the event was a huge success, raising a whopping £50k for patient care 👏
Also on 12th March, raising money for Rowcroft Hospice, The Male Trail was walked by around 600 fundraisers from Torquay Rugby Club. The chaps also got to enjoy a brew and one of our pasties after striding around the town. This fantastic effort raised £75K to care for patients in the community.
