The Best Way to have Pies Delivered

What's the best way to have Pies Delivered?
Is there anything better than having tasty gourmet pies ready to pop in the oven turn up on your doorstep? Whether you're a Chicken, Leek and Bacon buff or a classic Steak and Ale pie advocate, they'll be with you in a few days, calling to you to gobble them up! Our pies are all made with care in the kitchen so we do we all we can to make sure they go out to you with care (sadly not all delivery drivers keep up their end of the bargain)!
We recently sent out a survey to around 1000 of our customers to find out what they thought about the way we send out our pies and pasties.
Thank you to all those who came back to us with feedback, we really appreciate you taking the time to answer our questions ❤️

How we send our pies by post
Once lovely Lou in the office processes your order, it is sent down to the kitchen where our kitchen hunks bake your pies, pasties and sausage rolls (except from the gluten-free goodies which come from our dedicated sister bakery down the road and are sent out frozen baked and wrapped!).🥶
Your bakes are cooked then wrapped and picked for delivery! Adan and the packing team pop all your items in a box with the vital packaging to keep it lovely and cool in transit. In our packaging there are several icepacks which can all be recycled or disposed of in an environmentally friendly way. Your parcel is then collected by the delivery drivers and distributed to you within a 24 hour window to guarantee freshness!
We were contemplating moving away from sending pies and pasties cooked and ready to go in the fridge, with the aim of sending them frozen. This would make for more flexibility at home and a better quality bake however the overwhelming opinion from our lovely customers was that of unwavering support for how we currently operate, with 39% of respondents telling us the importance of the product format is "very important" to them.
While some responses were neutral, one customer stating it "really wouldn’t make any difference. These are the best pies we have tasted - and we’ve tried most of them!". The majority of customers value the current product format (baked and wrapped), like this customer confirms, "I like things exactly as they are. It is quick and easy to cook a pie in an Air Fryer the way they are and takes roughly the same time as cooking my homemade seasoned fries so I can cook them at the same time."
We have taken the decision, therefore to keep cooking our bakes here for now so they just need a quick reheat at home. When they arrive at your door your pies, pasties and sausage rolls can be kept in the fridge for up to 7 days or popped in the freezer for future lazy cooking days.
